NWDA’s Discovery Dash offers a great opportunity to have your product showcased in front of NWDA Attendees ― including the opportunity to directly present the benefits of your product while at your table top.

What is the NWDA Discovery Dash?

The Dash kicks off with a presentation during the General Session which consists of each exhibitor having one slide for your best product. This is followed by organized visits to your table top by all Attendees “speed dating style.”  Attendees will later vote on the best entry of all exhibitors. That exhibitor will receive an engraved award as our Vendor Innovation Award winner, great exposure for your company! Space is limited. Contact NWDA Headquarters for more information.

2014 Summer Meeting a Success!

Thank you to all who attended, sponsored and exhibited at our annual Summer Meeting and Golf Outing at Caesars Atlantic City! It was a beautiful time of year at the Jersey shore and NWDA members enjoyed a friendly game of golf at Stockton Seaview Golf Club. Following the tournament, the causal reception was held at Bally's Mountain Bar so everyone could re-connect and network with other members, non-members, and sponsors. Tuesday the conference was packed with a number of educational sessions as well as table top exhibits.

On the Agenda
Sessions on Tuesday kicked off with an Exhibitor Product Showcase for table top sponsors to share with attendees information about their company and products. Joe Reed from Architectural Testing began with his report on codes and specs. Next up was new member Vin McLoughlin from Cardinal Logistics Management Corporation who spoke about dedicated contract carriage in the window and door industry. Then, every summer we invite fenestration and construction industry economic expert Michael Collins of Building Industry Advisors to share his insights about the state of our industry and the outlook for the future.  We followed up with a legal topic with Rick Merkert of Architectural Testing on field testing methods for quality assurance, forensics and litigation and then with Ian Hucul of Crystal Windows on contract, collections, liens and best practice policies for manufacturers. We concluded the successful meeting with Brian Waldman and Eric Horndahl of Renoviso reviewing one of our Board member’s websites in how to generate business from your website, followed by lots of questions from audience members about how to make their sites better. Meeting Presentations are Available Didn't make it to Caesars in Atlantic City for the 2014 Summer Meeting? Members can access copies of the meeting presentation materials, available in the “Presentation Archive” section under Resources in the My NWDA Portal. Save the date for our next meeting when we return to Foxwoods for our Winter Meeting, January 12-13, 2015.
